The Aidan J Klenc Foundation was created in memory of Aidan J Klenc, who died in April 2020 from brain cancer. Due to the generosity of his friends and family, he and his family were able to go on a final family trip to Costa Rica. With the leftover funds, Aidan’s family created the foundation in his name to give back to the community what the community gave to them.
Our Philosophy
No matter who you are or where you come from, we believe joy and grief are inextricably and profoundly connected. It can be difficult for families who are struggling with sickness to find joy. With the help of our community, we assist in the creation of joy with a trip to Costa Rica. Our community also supports families through the grief and loss associated with cancer. Whether it is loss of a child, loss of normalcy, loss of control— there are many ways grief controls the journey of someone with cancer. We connect people affected by cancer, not through the unfortunate circumstance of sickness— but the experiences that give true meaning to our lives: joy, connection, loss, grief, and legacy.
